Shots rang out near North Nagle and West Allen streets around 3:30 p.m. Authorities arrived at the scene to find the victim with a single gunshot wound, according to APD.
First responders rendered aid at the scene and took the victim to an area hospital, police said. His injuries "do not appear to be life-threatening at this time."
The shooting is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call 610-437-7721.
